Today we are officially moving into the new house here in Da Lat, Vietnam!
I managed to find a beautiful, traditional wooden house right in Ward 1 (the city centre) for only £330 a month (around 12 million VND). Honestly, for the price and the look of this place, it felt like an incredible deal for a cost of living budget in Da Lat.
In this video, I’m giving you a full tour as I unpack and try to settle into my new Vietnamese neighbourhood. Since it's located in the heart of the city, I was a bit worried about whether it would feel like home or be completely overwhelming—but the street seemed quiet enough when I signed the lease.
Come along for moving day, check out what £330/month gets you in the mountains of Vietnam, and let me know if you'd live in a wooden house like this!
