Woman, you've ruined me.  I learned short rows from you and your book.  Post gloves, (they were the suggested beginning item) I made one of your hats, then I gleefully went out and found other designer's short row stuff. Ruined!  Ruined I say.  Yours looks better, works better over all, I'm certain it will last longer, and it is easier to knit.  You should be ashamed. Making all the other short rows feel inadequate.  Hope you enjoyed my snarky and round about complement.  Keep the videos coming, they are great! Sorry, I didn't say anything about cuffs.  I'm only 15 seconds in but I'm certain I will learn something useful.  Subscribe people, she certainly knows her stuff.

oof. I'm not sure I could  deal with knitting off the prov cast-on, without transferring to another needle. I mean, I'm sure that technically I could, but I think it would make me crazy. I'll stick to transferring to another needle. I do admire you for being able to do it.

Extremely silly question from a very beginning knitter:  for the picot method, as you are knitting two together to create the picot, aren't we reducing?  How do we make up for the stitch that we're losing by stitching two together?  Thanks for your patience with this question!

the picot edge...the way you do the YO ...does it have to be done in that direction?   i would normally bring the yarn between the needles THEN do the YO from front to back.    Is that do-able to make the picot?LOVE THE PICOT EDGE on the double brim!   So clever!
