Arsenal fans be honest - Slegers IN or OUT? And is the title race DONE already in October?? 👇 Plus, where does Putellas rank RIGHT NOW? Let's argue in the replies 😅

Renée got a pass last season for not winning the WSL because she’d won the champion’s league. That cannot be allowed to be carried on this season and frankly, this season is already done. To me, it looks like we have a plethora of talent, but Renée hasn’t been able to unlock it yet. One thing that stands out to me is please play Mariona at 10. Not 6 or left wing. And play Baum on the left, she’s that left footed.

Renee still has the job cause she won the champions league it's reminding me of Slot for Liverpool men last season when he stayed for as long as he did cause he won the league

We have three quality RBs and only one left-footed LB. Batlle is class, but you can clearly see she's can't be a permanent LB solution because her left-footed crossing is poor. She also seems to seriously lack pace, which could cover a multitude of sins.
This makes letting McCabe go look bad for the club, because, even though she might have lost some speed, she still has a wand of a left foot. Letting her go is only made worse because losing her is also the loss of an important personality. McCabe was a general for us. She had serious steel that seems to now be lacking in this team. When the going gets tough heads seem to quickly drop.
That's that for personnel. Tactically too, I don't really understand what Renee has been on lately. First off, playing Baum at LW and Smith at RW didn't really make sense, since you're telegraphing to the opposition that your wingers are mainly looking to supply your striker, and they're not really looking to cut it. You've also now removed two scoring threats since your wingers shooting feet are now further from the post. Another tactical issue has been Renee basically weakening our midfield when chasing a goal. Whenever I see Russo drop into the 10, when facing a strong team, I can guaranty you we're going to concede a goal (if not two), but somehow Renee hasn't caught onto that.
I'm glad for what Renee has done for the club. But I now think it's time for her to visit pastures new. I think Claire Wheatley should go too, as she made a shambles of the transfer window.

Renée is a blessing to have in the woman’s game. She can’t run on the field and kick the ball in the goal. She is well spoken. Thoughtful and genuinely cares about the players and the coaches. Just  replace Williamson. No brainer.

I went as a Spurs fan to the match today, we were totally outplayed. LCL were phenomenal.

Birmingham probably already knows what formation, starting 11, pattern of play and what subs she’ll make. It’s all cool winning the a UWCL as an interim without any pressure… but what has she done since as a full time besides add a new position to Russo’s name on FC27?

Sonia got a red card when McCabe pulled Thompson's hair yet she still spoke post-game.

I would be in favour of sacking Renee but I feel like it will be a repeat cycle of just replacing managers and this continuing where we are out of title races early on and constant slow starts. Clare Wheatley has to go as well

The short guy who always sits with Slegers may be the issue?

Give them all more time

Come on LCL!!

Time for Renee to leave with Jen Beattie and Kimberly taking over!
Leah was poor for her standards. Gave away the ball a lot.

The ONLY reason Arsenal won the Champions League was because Barca had a very rare off day. They certainly didn’t win it by the way they were playing.

Woohoo the girls

For the nth time, winning the Champions League is never a guarantee that the best team won. There' s a lot of luck that goes on with Cup competitions ie. fixtures, form on the day etc. Its good to win one, but its never a barometer of where you are.

They don’t seem to dig in when the going gets tough

The team is built on mental strength/ what’s going on? Slegers has to go. The team are either not playing for her or she’s out of her depth. If the ‘wrong’ players are at the club, whose fault is that? Arsenal women have lost their way in the league for many years. The league is the bread and the butter, so win it once already!!!!

Arsenal will end up selling come, January

Manchester city Liverpool was one of the most exciting games of the year had all the ingredients fucking feast of football just saying ladies-Chloe Kelly to Liverpool 1,000,000 pounds per year plus Liverpool is Reds rising🇨🇦🇨🇮🐈🤣🇬🇧🦉
