Arc system works quite literally released a character with the unhealthiest relationship to ever grace this earth, followed up by another character with probably the healthiest relationship to ever exist in the Guilty Gear universe

So they updated A.B.A and Paracelsus’ bios on GG World with the Slayer patch. One update is removing all the fluff about how Paracelsus “never agreed to be wed to A.B.A” and he’s now stated simply as “A.B.A’s husband”. So he accepted the marriage proposal, lol! The second big thing is that it’s revealed that A.B.A’s mental control over Para’s form is so strong, that he actually can turn into a human right now if A.B.A really wants him to, but she has a subconscious fear that he will leave her if he has legs so her own mental block has stopped this process the whole time. And “only Paracelsus is privy to this fact” and he hasn’t told A.B.A.

So when he’s reassuring her that he won’t leave her in the arcade ending, he’s already mentally prepared to start shifting into a human form. That means he also knows if he doesn’t start changing, then A.B.A still subconsciously fears he will leave her. So basically Testament needs to come back and give some trust issues therapy to A.B.A before she’ll ever get Para in a human form.

Paracelsus be like:

I also really like how "Symphony" managed to touch on both A.B.A.'s obsession with idioms and how difficult her relationship with Paracelsus is because of their poor communication, all while putting the drummer into their own Moroha Mode because, oh my god, they went into a fucking frenzy

imagine A.B.A's VA crying in public
I'll be either running to find a key
or just Running

i love guilty gear cuz it`s normal if your favorite charecter is just a key.

Honestly with Paracelsus and Slayer having some lore together and both having wildly different relationships, I hope we get to see them interact.

I made him add the “Live Paracelsus Reaction”!

I dont even play guilty gear strive but I'm  obsessed with this couple

I forgot who made it but someone did a Reddit post entirely on how the Aba’s “Sex with a Key” meme is lore accurate

Man turned into Bedman at 6:40

Also with the Slayer patch, it’s mentioned in the updated GG World bios that Paracelsus did try to mind control A.B.A before, but she is so singularly hyperfixated on him that he “yielded to her tenacious will”.

9:06 He’s YOURS girl, calm the hell down nobody else wants him😭

Ain’t no way they found a way to put belts on Paracelsus

A.B.A is really popular on Tumblr. I frequent the Tumblr side of the Guilty Gear community and you’d be surprised how much art of A.B.A I’ve seen compared to everyone else.

honestly.... this is such a real relationship between a person who is just now in society and a literal fucking demon key. like its SURPRISINGLY relatively healthy even accounting for A.B.A's jealousy and fear of abandoment (like fair, abandoment is all she ever knew and like she has the most precious thing to her and being scared of it leaving you too is scary).
paracelcus isnt manipulating her to do his bidding but is honestly wanting to be by her side and help her get better
and A.B.A just loves him a lot but is very very scared
I love this honestly, maybe because i also have fear of abandoment but like... dude a woman with a massive fucking key shouldnt be my top 1 most real and wholesome relationship but like... IT IS

In the next game they need to change jelousy mode to love mode and change paracelcis color to blue

"A.B.A. might be Portuguese though, I don't know"
yeah sure i'll integrate that into my headcanon

Jealousy mode I call it the husband meter

I really like her theme: "Symphony." It's weirdly inspirational, about accepting yourself and all your strangeness compared to everyone else and trying to do whatever you can to change the world if that's what you want.

Almost makes you forget all her yandere-ness. Almost.
