brother i do not understand how this is literally the only video about 540i standard brakes on youtube but its appreciated.. truly done tons of other break jobs but this was new to me and your vid was quick easy and straight to the point both sides done in under 2 hours, that was me muckin around. thank you truly

This is an excellent well designed video. I have watched probably 40-50 and they are all confusing. This one tells the correct tool, the correct torque specs and it is done with detail. Thanks

I'm in the market for a BMW now and just wanted to see how the maintenance for brakes, oil changes etc are for these cars. This is something I can definitely do my own when the time comes. Good work man thanks for the tutorial!

Excellent video and all bases covered. I had a real hard time getting my pads into the calipers. I used my air compressor to really blow out all the dust and, though it couldn't have made more than a few thousands of an inch difference in tolerance, that made them snap right in. Doing this job again tomorrow after about 30k more miles.

The guide clips or anti rattle clips gave me the nightmare and after a while I got rattled and threw them away. Are they an absolute must? They were proving to be more of an hinderence
