Once you go FSD, it´s very hard to go back to any brand that isn't Testla.

Most ICE drivers are probably like I was. No real idea about EV's in general, and not much thought given to them. Then my nephew gave me a test ride in his Model 3, and I was instantly interested. He is a car mechanic, and I was blown away when he told me he would never go back to gas. THAT really got my attention, and as I had a car approaching 100,000 miles, I started looking for a replacement. This was 2023. I tend to keep cars for 10 years, and I thought a gas car might be hard to resell in 10 years, so I started looking at hybrids. To someone ignorant, hybrids seem like the perfect answer. A bit of research reveals they are more like a combination of the worst of both worlds. At any rate, once I started looking, I found out all I needed to know about Teslas and EV's, and 3 months later I bought a 2023 MYP. Last year I added a 2026 MY AWD (far better road tripper). I have 58,000 miles on the pair in 3 years. I bought FSD outright for the Juniper, and I pay monthly on the MYP. Not only will I not buy an ICE car again, I won't buy a non-FSD car either.

I love giving people rides in my 2018 Tesla Model X (still under warranty until December, btw), because they’re always blown away by the power and the comfort. However, because I live in Sweden (and am stuck with HW3), I can still only show them FSD on the highway. But once FSD finally becomes available on all of Sweden’s roads, I’ll be moving to a new Model Y Premium with 4.0 hardware, and look forward to blowing more people’s minds then. 😊

FSD is redefining luxury. I get in my Tesla and say, "hey Grok, take me to Walmart," then I push an on-screen button. After this, I do not need to touch anything. I can control everything by talking to Grok. There is no need for buttons.
The car drives me to the store and parks itself. There is no luxury greater than the car driving itself.

It's always people who know nothing about Tesla or EVs that say they will never buy a Tesla. Mental illness is a serious problem.

Fantastic to see all those petrolheads understanding what we love about Tesla.

@kathleenwhitten7120 9 hours ago

But but but - the demand problem!!!

@musk-eteer9898 12 hours ago (edited)

smart drivers prefer Tesla, add on FSD for luxury and extra safety.

I keep watching and hoping that VW goes bankrupt.

@brettsorge2550 10 hours ago

Can you imagine how big demand would be if they had enough dealers to satisfy demand? That stops a lot of people from buying one. In my case I am almost two hour from my dealer. The FSD is a game changer. I bought my model

After you drive Tesla you wont buy ICE

@Gettothechoppaaa 13 hours ago

It's going to be quite the spectacle as the big legacy auto makers line up to file for bankruptcy one after the other...will governments throw taxpayers' money at them to effect some kind of rescue? I certainly hope not..they had plenty of time and chances but their arrogance was too great! This is going to be brutal in the jobs market! Safe journey Lars!

@ellislee4531 10 hours ago

Great show Lars, you nailed it!

@davidkendall2272 12 hours ago (edited)

Love your sarcasm Lars, makes me laugh. You are hitting it out of the park every episode. "Tesla Demand Problem" soundly refuted! Tesla FSD emerges as a major big deal and the haters will find it hard to ignore it now except those who continue to ignore safety!

@jameswalsh8837 4 hours ago

I'm 83, and own a MY with FSD, and occasionally people ask me what it's like. My stock answer is, "Like unto a magic carpet." :-) It is only a slight exaggeration.

@goonyhill1857 9 hours ago

Would love to see FSD in the UK

@22:00 bmw the ultimate you HAVE to drive it machine.

LARS - the Bigger takeaway is , Incumbent motorheads are buying TESLA , instead of Legacy BEV.
Tesla has the superior SAFETY and the right Technology stack.
