Mexico City is my passion, but you have to know it well to truly enjoy it! In this video, we venture a little beyond the Zócalo to show you the reality of the streets that don't usually appear in tourist guides.
I'll show you where the landscape starts to change, which streets are dedicated exclusively to commerce, and why you should be extra careful with your belongings in certain areas. We'll talk about the infamous raids on street vendors, the massive influx of Chinese products to Izazaga, and the reality of the Red Light District on Circunvalación. This video is for you if you want to experience the real Mexico City, with its bright spots and its darker aspects, but always with safety in mind.
Tell me in the comments if you've ever gotten lost on any of these streets or which area makes you feel the most uneasy!
