Jason I went to a 19T on mine. I am getting 57 mph on pavement with it now running 9500 batteries. I think my best in the grass is 53 mph. This truck is a blast to drive. I thickened my center diff and it helps a lot.

Good stuff my fellow Jason!! Cant wait to get one once I move to Alaska for my next assignment

That’s why I used the insert for the pinion. I’ve installed the 21-tooth one now, and with the insert, the gear mesh is perfect.great video man!

That thing is a monster

Taylor RC have great mod 1.5 pinions.
My 30DNT is running a 21t on a hobbywing max4 sensored esc with the 70125 motor.
Perfect temps, running hard on both 8 and 12S

I planned on getting one of these until I saw one at the Hobby Shop yesterday. The thought of hauling that behemoth around made my back hurt.

22t would be perfect

Without the tire looking at mine it feels like somethings missing. But it doesn't look bad

Great video as always. My recommendation is toss out the batteries you use and replace them with the CNHL extreme10,500 mAh 1204/240C discharge lihv (4.35 volts per cell) batteries. Should gain about 5 to 6 mph and in return have a solid 40 to 45 minutes of runtime. They're expensive but it is what it is if you want what you want!! You're welcome!

I’d rather that truck have more power not speed, what tooth would you think for that?

@Marv-YouTube_Hauptkanal 2 months ago

What kind of runtime do you get with the Losi ?:)

Hey, I pre-ordered the Losi and not a single day has passed in the last three weeks where I haven't googled something Losi-related :D

Could you tell me if it's possible to increase the ground clearance on the Losi without necessarily mounting bigger tires? I read something about droop screws on the A-arms that allegedly let you raise it by a few centimeters. I’d like to do some more off-road driving instead of always sticking to smooth, clean tracks. Thanks! :)

Doesn't look like it has a lot of acceleration compared to an X Maxx ultimate

@bradandmarksrcgarage4940 3 months ago

19t or 20t lol, did you just ditch the fixed mesh ?

@s13kuminachu 2 months ago

What no 20 foot gaps, rolls, flips, tumbles. Where's the chassis slapage. You drive it like RC is meant to be enjoyed. I'll never get the guys who try to destroy stuff intentionally. I want a roller version!
