Lies of P, Khazan, and Wuchang fallen feathers but really enjoyed Lords of the fallen too, stoked for the sequel!

The last update of Lords of the Fallen even overhauled the final boss completely. I was going for infernal ending in my veteran playthrough but I purged one of the beacons, so I was locked out of it. Glad that I cleared that beacon.

My top 3 favorites are Lies of P at the top and it's actually my favorite game I've played. (Just started gaming about 3 years ago). Lies of P was my first souls-like game and the story and music had me hooked.

Lords of the Fallen and Wuchang Fallen Feathers are close second and third. Some days I would say Lords of the Fallen and some days I would say Wuchang.

LOTF has coolest lore reveal system. Lore items details only reveal based on your radiance or inferno level. That way if you're going for Radiance build, it will reveal Hallowed Sentinels lore, if you are going for inferno building, it will reveal Adyr's lore. This is a mind blowing idea because inferno starting class is team Adyr's and his lore items will tell story around him so eventually you can decide to go for his ending or betray him. Like wise for other 2 endings.

Great video man! My "Souls" journey started with "Remnant: From The Ashes", from there I got Remnant 2(one of my favourite games of all time). But since finishing all scenarios on R2, I was looking for something new to play, I enjoyed Expedition 33, a nice throwback to old Turn Based RPGs.  Then I needed something else to play and thought, lets try actual "Souls" games and tried Elden Ring, which was fun, but didn't gel with me. I tried Lords Of The Fallen and fell in love instantly. On my first NG+ playthrough as we speak and doing the Umbral ending. Thanks for the Fallen Order recommendation. It is currently 90% off on Epic Winter sale got it for like +-$5! Will give it a go next. Will give all the rest in this video a 'go", I hear great stuff about Lies of P.

I really loved The Surge games. Just replayed through The Surge 2 again experimenting with different builds and styles. The game brings a lot of new, original creative ideas to the genre, despite a slightly dated custom in-house game engine from Deck13. I loved the directional parry system in part 2, reminded me a bit of Metal Gear Revengence's parry system. I also like the battery pack heal system that's a lot like the one in Lies of P where you get rewarded with "energy" for successful combos without taking damage so you can really come back from having no heals and a slither of heath left to having a bunch of them again, making for moments of epic comebacks.
The limb-cutting system is also cool and I love that this is your main way of getting gear drops. I liked that they didn't just copy existing From Software games and did their own thing. The combat really feels crunchy and satisfying and some of the bosses are really creative with their multiple phases. The Surge 2 has one of the best interconnected world maps too in my opinion.

Thanks for the video

Gostei do detalhe da musica de fundo com o tema de Majula :
Tenho curiosidade para experimentar o Mortal Shell (1 e 2), joguei o Lords of the Fallen, não é mau mas não me despertou grande sensação.

So happy to see Lord of the Fallen at #3. All I can say is if you didn't like the final boss, try doing the Umbral ending, that is a real challenge

I’m still trying to figure out how kena is a soulslike. If anything, it appears to play closer to a Zelda game with level design and combat, maybe one like skyward sword or wind waker. It’s a bit more whimsical too to have any sort of dark souls inspiration. Another crabs treasure would be a good alternative, as it’s cartoonish and childlike on the surface but takes a really dark turn pretty quickly and further into the game. Not to mention the combat is much more directly inspired by dark souls, even going so far to collect solaires armor in the game and there being an area called “the sands between”

Seeing Kena on this list is awesome. That game is insanely underrated!

The hard modes are absolutely brutal.

Such a beautiful charming game with a solid story.

I honestly would love to see more from Ember Labs.

Edit: Ember Labs announcing the next Kena 2 days later after this comment is crazy!

470 hours in remnant 2, file corrupted, cloud save was 47 hours in 😂. I was so mad for so long. I had everything from every mode. Was just combing through the final dlc and getting into the new (at the time) crystal fragment thing. Man, I’ve tried to start over so many times but I just get mad and quit lol.

You have GOT to play Nioh & First Berzerker: Khazan, huge recommends, especially if you like Lies of P's combat.

I really liked Lords of the Fallen. I don’t know when I got it, but it didn’t have all the updates and it was still really enjoyable.

Oh god finally i got someone talking about kena bridge of spirits
I love that game

That game when I played in 2026 was amazing

8/10 imo

Lore and world was great

Boss fights were decent with few good and great ones

Areas  cool but forgettable beside prison section

But enemy variety is garbage

Really recommend AI Limit if you haven't played that yet. A surprising fun soulslike entry with decent story that you need to piece together.

Kena is so underrated, and so beautifull. I love that game a little bit too much.

I love that there are a few games on here that I haven't ever heard of when all I have played for over 5 years is souls likes/souls games. Most of these I have played but there were 2 or 3 I hadn't even heard of.

I wish Thymesia was longer with more enemy variety. It was such a fun game, I just want more!
