I met Louie Vega and his wife after a show at the Ford Theater in Los Angles last fall (October 2018). We chatted for a good while the valet brought his car around. This was way after most everyone had gone home.  Guy was totally down to earth. I let him know what all of that material he did with Masters At Work  meant to me as a young ,man in the early to mid 90's. He seemed genuinely flattered and appreciative. Guy was seriously just a like normal guy........with awesome talent.

I remember Louie from The devils nest  in the Bronx back in the day. Also when i was on the 98.7 Kiss Fm Summer Concert Staff he spun at an outdoor Concert at Orchard Beach in 1986. Still plays the classics !! Paradise Garage Forever !! Peace.
