Wow that 2nd and 3rd place finish in the Men's was INSANE!

To the commentator who thinks it Should be unacceptable to miss the spear throw? If an obstacle doesn’t slow down a competitor or make them nervous at least a little bit, then what’s the point of having the obstacle in the first place? Nerves are always part of a competition. The penalty of having to do burpees that could cause them to lose time is just enough to make them miss. And that’s what makes it fun to watch!

I run ocr but never a Spartan yet and it's great to see how constantly their production of showing the race is professional. It's what the sport needs to grow and be taken more seriously

If one wants a close look at the competitors, the course and the surrounding terrain...check out the North Tahoe Spartan...literally constant on course coverage and adds a new way to follow the rigors of Spartan.

One day I will work up the bravery and the obstacle race. That just looks fun.

Great show of athleticism! I'm a runner but could not compete with these guys especially with the weight on some of the obstacles.

You guys need a banner or something behind you and some lights to light that thing up

Talking about the spear throw (I’m a bit late to this video) it can’t be expected to hit the spear 10/10. One major thing they failed to mention is the elevation and distance vary between each and every race

@Spartan Race I love watching your races, I hope you start showing a lot more races on youtube this year. A question on this race, Is their a reason why this race we only got to see the first 20/25 minutes and the finish line of the race? I'm guessing it was maybe an issue due to weather, but it was still disappointing to miss a lot of the race.

Inspiring. I just ran around the block 3 times 12 weeks post-opp from total lumbar disc replacement spinal surgey after watching this. Looks fun and rewarding! Definitely motivational!!
