I designed this skirt based upon 'The Princess and the Pea'…to AVOID my peas. However, this beautiful skirt turned into an absolute sewing nightmare instead of a happily ever after. My sensory-sensitive garment design failed when I accidentally used fold-over elastic in the modular design, making the skirt painful and completely unwearable. Queue: fail, rip apart, cut off the waistband, and redesign and sew! So sad! This design was SO Clever… it will become wearable I promise…
