I love how Kong could have easily cut off Mecha-G's head with the powered up axe but instead decides to  take his time twisting it off himself. Truly a savage.

I love how Mecha was ignoring Kong as much as possible focusing on Godzilla but as soon as he brought the axe he was like "damn this monke too dangerous to be kept alive"

This is the most badass scene, Godzilla looking up seeing Kong just saved his life is just chilling. Godzilla then returning it and saving Kong’s is just heroic.

Love how, at the end of the fight, Kong abandoned all technological/material weapons and just finished Mechagodzilla with his hands and strength. Wicked detail.

King Kong holding up Mechagodzilla’s head as if he just did a Mortal Kombat fatality was neat.

This went from "really? a team up?" to a straight up pro wrestling match and I loved every second of it

Kong's big advantage seems to be his intelligence, but Godzilla's insight that the axe+breath is more powerful than breath alone is scarily clever too.

I loved how Kong knew that as soon as Godzilla powered up his axe it was game over for MechaGodzilla. His eyes lit up like a kid's on Christmas morning.

Not only did we get Mechagodzilla in the monsterverse but never expected Kong to ever fight Mechagodzilla in general

I love how Mechagodzilla gradually took Kong more seriously as the fight progressed when he was mainly focusing on Godzilla. In Mechagodzilla’s eyes Kong went from being nothing more than an inconvenience to a primary threat when he brought out the axe. 💀💀

Kong ripping off Mechagodzilla's head, holding it up in victory and roaring is one of the most badass things I've ever seen.

I think the best shot in this scene is at 2:19, when Kong is like “What the hell are you… OHHHHH!”

Let's keep in mind that Mecha-Godzilla lost because Ghidorah had a bad WiFi connection

This really was a perfectly-balanced outcome that respects both characters. Godzilla defended his title against Kong, but Kong saved Godzilla and killed the big bad.

Kong was strong enough to rip Mecha's head off... if not for covid, this movie would have been a real box office hit...
