This became my favorite mastering EQ almost instantly and it has THE most convenient mid-side implementation out of any other EQ I've tried. Great results with minimum tweaking.

I love it….i also love the spl PQ what I find works awesome for me is that I will use a great digital visual EQ and get the kind of sound I want first and then use something like this to polish it off, because like you said, I will cut frequencies from the sides and boost the same ones in the mids or vice versa….usually i will boost low in the mono and left channel and cut them more in the sides and then vice versa.

I liked the MEA-2 a lot. I tend to use the Massive Passive from UA but dang I feel lucky to have access to such amazing tools. When I was first getting started, stuff like this was unthinkable. Now it’s like $100 for an amazing mastering Eq

You really upgraded your video quality ! As well as the lighting !
Pro tip : You need to export the video in 4K for youtube, the video compression of 1080p only videos is very heavy, you will a far more better quality even if you shoot your videos in 1080p, you just need to change the resolution when exporting it doesn't matter if the timeline is 1080p only.

I had to have it. I got it. I compare it in pro tools and Logic. It seams to be louder for adjusting in Logic. It's low in Pro tools. I put it into plug in doctor. In protools there is no level readings in mid side. mid shows up but noy the side graph. you can bearly hear the side signal. Same in Logic pro, no graph in side view and bearly hear the audio changes if any. Solo button doesn't work well if at all. I'll keep playing with it.

Great video as always. One question, i'm about to buy the audeze mm100 (can't afford the mm500). How close or different are they? Can i get good results with the mm100? Thank you for all the videos!!

Hey Justin.
I have read that the Relab has no real harmonic information added and it is basically just a collection of curves in a way. Nothing against this but it does not sound like a faithful emulation of it. Unfortunately, I don’t have the hardware in order to compare . Cause if it is this way, then I find it pretty expensive for what it offers. I would love to see a Noel test comparison against their heart to hear the differences. Have you by any chance I’ve ever done this? Cheers!
