I have taken apart many of my dads old watches when I was a child .    none ever got put back with all the pieces.   I still wear them broken 50 years later now .  They remind me of my dad.   They all tell the correct time twice a day .

One may find artists, craftsmen, philosophers, photographers and narrators as good as you on You Tube BUT I cannot imagine finding any better. You are a gift that I and many others appreciate.

As a child, in the 1950's, I used to watch my Father strip down, clean and re-assemble time pieces for friends and relatives. I wouldn't talk, move or twitch, I was fascinated by what he was doing. I imagine you sitting there with a Jewellers glass, as you do this. My Dad never explained what he was doing, all I knew was that my Dad was a magician who gave people back what they needed. You speak about different oils and lubricants and cleaning methods. My Dad had lighter fluid for cleaning and 3In1 Oil for a lubricant. I now wish that I'd asked questions and asked him what he was doing and to teach me what he was doing. Hindsight gives you 20/20 vision. Carry on with what you're doing, I've shed a little tear for missed opportunities, but I really enjoy your professionalism and obvious love for your calling. More power to you and long may you continue.

When he made the “sounds like a bad marriage” comment, I had the best laugh of the day..maybe the week or even the month. 😂😂 It totally caught me off guard. This man is intelligent, witty and downright hilarious at times and his videos are mesmerizing. One of my favorite channels on YouTube.
