Del amitri  I can’t say enough good things about this magnificent band.God bless this amazing songwriter and human being.

Thank you Justin for all the great music you gave us fans

Love this man even more after seeing this, what a fantastic attitude. 😍

Great talent. Wish him all the best.

We went to Liverpool last December, and got lucky with tickets to their show. A great gig. They've still got it. Justin knows eventually he'll stop playing bass, but hopefully he'll carry on singing.

Great guy songwriter and band Wish him all the best ❤

prayers & best wishes go out to Justin. great courage he has in facing his health challenges.
loved his music for years & may he continue to play as long as he can🙏

It was March 1984 when Justin stayed in our student flat at 10 Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh. A long story. Knew him through John Dingwall. Justin stole my bed. As a fellow 19 year old, born 8 days apart, I couldn’t believe he’d written all those tunes on their first LP. Seemed old for his years. Wish him all the best in the ongoing fight.

Twisted . What an album . great band . All good musicians and Justin has an amazing soulful voice.

Big Dels fan. Wishing Justin all the best.

Always been a big fan of Justin and his personality. I know friends of his who say he has never changed and is perplexed by how he is who he is and also a star. Good luck in the future Justin and hope it is a long time before you hang up that bass.

Also a big fan of the band. Had the good fortune to bump into him at a Paul McCartney gig in Liverpool a good few years ago. Such a nice bloke.

Was very fortunate to meet and talk to Justin before and after gigs and he was so gracious with my questions, curiousity.Prayers he recovers form this terrible ailment

No sense of oh woe me, i'm a famous musician and its not fair.  Inspiring attitude.

Justin Currie is a Pop genius.  He wrote some of the greatest songs with the greatest melodies and hooks and lyrics I can recall.  Still listening every day.  Always The Last To Know breaks my heart every time.

all the best Justin. Have always loved your music with Del Amitri and solo.

God bless Justin .. stay strong, you’ve bought a lot of joy to a lot of people

It's 01:30am and I came across this video on YouTube on my TV, as the presenters were about to thank Justin, I paused it.
Loaded up YouTube music on my phone straight to Spit In The Rain
Driving With The Brakes On
Nothing Ever Happens and I'm now on Last To Know and all the while the talented man that is my Scottish brother Justin face paused on my TV while I listen.
Sending you best wishes from Glasgow Justin 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
