Everything about this video highlights just how far WWE has declined nowadays. The crowd are actually alive, the Dudleys were part of a plethora of talented (and active) tag teams, The Rock alone was a far superior wrestler in every aspect (Gimmick, charisma, wrestling ability, crowd control etc.) than the entire current roster put together, the matches aren't so stale (Remember when gimmick matches like a Tables Match used to be common?), even the commentators speak like they actually have passion!
I love the way the camera zooms out when the Rock is about to do the people's elbow, epic stuff. The people's elbow is one of the best and most stylish finishers ever, you actually enjoy seeing it over and over again.
I can't believe this was about 15 years ago?! Man how time flies and how so much has changed. The attitude Era and the Era after it is how I'll always remember wrestling. The Rock is the best ever.
It always amazes me how short all these matches were. I always think how great and epic they were, and when I watch them its like 8 minutes or sometimes even like 5-7 minutes not including entrances.
I was there at this event in Boston in early 2000. Wrestling was so exciting back then. I was sitting in the front row (the kid with the black hat touching The Rock's arm at 1:33). I still have a piece of a table from this match. They had a crew taking it away so I asked for a souvenir lol. Good times.
