U forgot the sorbs in Germany

What impresses me the most- Slavic resilience! Some of the strongest people I’ve ever met! Greetings ❤

I'm from the Gorani or Goranci minority in Kosovo. We're a Slavic people by origin and Muslim by religion. We speak our local language, which is an older form of Serbian.

Not ALL the Slavs. There are also the Sorbs in Germany, the Kashubs in Poland, the Rusyns in northeast Slovakia, the Resians in Italy, The Carasovan Torlaks in Romania, the Gorani in Kosovo...

1:38 it's like asking an american to translate a norvegian word, i mean both english and norge are germanic languages

Personally I don’t care much about the historical Slav differences, what I care more is that we don’t spill each others blood, Croats and Serbs and now Russians and Ukrainians, it’s heart breaking

I was impressed by the beautiful architecture and scenery

"In 1991 Slovenes gained independence for the first time in their history" - wrong. Lets not forget principalities of Carantania and Carniola (6th century, first slavic principalities), Samos empire (7th century, first slavic empire), Kingdom of Carantania (9th century, one of the first slavic kingdoms) and March of Carantania, later March of Carinthia (as the alpine slavs could still elect their leaders until 14th century). We could also atleast partially count short lived states like state of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs as well as Republic of Prekmurje as states in which Slovenes were independent due to Slovene leadership and the fact Slovenes had to fight wars to get independent from Hungary and Austria🇸🇮👍🏻

Great video! I'd just like to correct a small mistake that is very wide spread: Cyril and Methodius creted the glagolitic script and later their deciples, namely Naum and Clement created the cyrillic and named it after their teacher Cyril.

And you could talk about the most famous serbian Nikola Tesla who invented electricity

There are Slavic communities in Southern Italy and many descendants in South America, President of Argentina with Croatian ancestors, Boric of Chile, Rousseff of Brazil, bulgarian. I love Slavic languages. Zdravo z Argentine,

I’m a Vietnamese American, and I’ve always been fascinated by the resilience and diversity of the Baltic-Slavic peoples!!!! Hello from Florida!!!!
❤❤
Great video bro you got a new sub!!!!

Great video!

As a southern Slav (mix of 🇭🇷 🇧🇦 🇷🇸), I can confidently say Slavic languages have words in common but 3 different alphabets and completely different grammar. Southern Slavic countries were each influenced by A. The empires they were ruled by and B. The political interest of countries they wanted to buddy up to.
That said, an artificial language called "interslavic/međuslavenski" was invented with common words from all slavic languages so we can understand each other.

This guy says Slavic people only share linguistics but he is wrong because we Slavic people know we share many similarities including culture and traditions, former pagan religions and myths, food and DNA.

As a Bulgarian who knows his history, let me correct you. The brothers Cyril and Methodius did not create the Cyrillic alphabet, but the Glagolitic alphabet. Later, one of their students (Klement) created the Cyrillic alphabet and called it Cyrillic as a sign of respect for his teacher. The  sovereign of Bulgaria was Tsar Boris, who helped and financed the work of Clement. This was a kind of golden age for the Bulgarian Empire and the newly created alphabet brought cultural and religious influence over all Slavic peoples.

Good stuff, thanks.

GOOD VIDEO- THANK YOU.
