In this video, you will learn what the Medallion framework is in Microsoft Fabric by creating an end-to-end project with me, requesting, processing, and displaying data from a public API.

You will also learn what Lakehouses are and how we can structure them in Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, both in files and in Delta tables.

We will build notebooks using PySpark and SparkSql for data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment.

We will configure a Data Pipeline to orchestrate the update flow between layers.

Finally, we will build a semantic model in Direct Lake and a Power BI report directly from Fabric through the browser. Completely online, without Power BI Desktop, without a gateway.
