Really wish there was a story mode. It would have been nice to see these characters, and like, hear some fun dialogue from the masterminds.

2:48 "Trenchy" is how Leon named Mr.X in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles)

Someone in Capcom leaked that they're working on 4 RE games between 2021 and 2024 and Outbreak is on the list,  fingers crossed one of the games  turns out to be a Code Veronica remake.

So they hired a company known for doing HD remasters, to not do one of the most asked for remasters? XD

I may be the only one that feels this way but this is hands down one of my favourite online games of all time. Really hope it doesn’t die completely but it probably will

This game was criminally underrated.  It's obvious how much thought and care went into it, and it's genuinely fun

REsistance actually had it's story mode cut and was packaged with RE3 because of the massive fan backlash after it's reveal.

RE3make actually wound up being cut down due to a lack of directional focus and constant infighting from the subsidiary studio that it was outsourced to.

This also works in conjunction with the scrapped build of REmake2 because of the fact that the original build was "too similar" to the original game and since 3make was being developed around the same time that actually puts everything in place for why 3make and REsistance turned out how they did.

The references that I can think of are
1- Martin says to Daniel at the start "Are you uh a real villain" a reference to Lazy Town famous song "we're number 1" and also Martin says sometimes "We're number one" as all survivors escape the exit gate.
2- Nickolai to Sam "Your body is not invincible like iron" a reference to Street fighters.
3- Annette says "it was all a mistake, but I can erase that mistake" a reference to Robocop.
4- Daniel says "who is an idiot sandwich now?" as stepping into his traps. A reference to the famous meme of Gorgon Ramsey.
5- Spencer also has "You just activated my trap card" which is a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh.

I have the theory that RE3 was just an excuse to charge 60 for REsistance. RE 3 was the bonus game....

The "offline mode" they mentioned was the Resident Evil 3 Remake. I think they said that to keep the surprise.

With "strong reaction" you mean "everyone hated it cause they just wanted to play Mercenaries"?

12:19 Actually, it was a cut boss in revelation 2 where it was a failed experiment with T Veronica and phobos that killed Neal, and it was in my school vr game as a substitute BOW for Goalius if his poison/sunscar meter is maxed out on a mission and its boss fight is pretty good where to kill it You need to throw a grenade in its mouth and uproot it AND is the only boss that the Ustanak is required if you don't have it GAME OVER

note: the name of the tower is actually Elizabeth tower, Big Ben is the name of the bell

You forgot “let me slip into something more comfortable” from austin powers one of Nikolai line

6:46
I also believe that this machine is a refrence to the casino in queen Zenobia of RE revelations 1🤔

I love this game. Once you get a solid team on resistance,  the game gets so addictive

spencer also quotes night of the living dead "im coming to get you"

Removing the singleplayer was a big mistake

I'm so glad you were able to showcase this game with this series. I know the game is horribly unbalanced, but I play almost everyday for the dailies still. Shame Capcom treated this game the way they did. So much fun in its simplicity.

As someone who has played this game for months and still continues to, despite how awful the games can get on PC nowadays, I wanna thank you so much for being supportive of this game! It means a lot to my friends and the Resistance community as a whole! <3 <3
