"As a reward for saving Ness, I kill off Jeff instantly."

Imagine following the voice in your dream and leave your home country all for your "friend" to stab you in some dark cave as soon as you stop being useful to him.

"None of the Sharks are really that dangerous except the roller skater guy and the pogo guy" You realize that's 2/3 of the Sharks, right?

Something I learned from someone else doing a no PSI / Items challenge through the whole series of Mother games is that numbness is a nuisance and a half to get hit by. Considering Ness learns paralysis, it likely would have been a huge help here, too.

Just wanna mention that Teleport can be used in a smaller area, because you can TURN while casting it, but it's hard to do. I was literally shook when I figured it out.

Actually the moles even bosses are susceptible to paralysis making them super easy

This is a very fun video to watch not only because the challenge is interesting but also because the background footage is sped up so Ness looks like he is hauling ass to to get to the end of the game!

@Julian_Pepper 5 years ago

Theoretically you could ALMOST do it, but Gigigigigigigas foils your plan, but the rest of the game where you have Ness should be doable

11:25 Fun fact, the original design even had "HH" on the costume, I’m pretty sure most people know what that stands for and what kind of people use it till this day 😅
The pompon at the end were also added for the western market 😅
