In Nevada, USA, lives the "Devil's Hole pupfish," a species found nowhere else in the world.
There are no rivers nearby for the fish to swim to, and very few places for breeding or foraging.
Furthermore, research suggests two different timelines for when this fish arrived in Devil's Hole: one suggests "about 60,000 years ago," while the other suggests "only a few hundred years ago." The exact route of their arrival remains completely unknown.
This time, we explore the aquatic world hidden beneath the desert and the mysteries left behind by this tiny fish.
