I will miss you. Thank u for helping me to get my health back on track.(I was there with u day 1.) You changed the way I eat, think and move. 2 yrs. ago, I became a different person because of you. Best of luck that you find the peace you are searching for. (The 71 yr. old blk lady here again in the comments.)🙏🏽

Life is depressing these days.  You’ve been a light in this darkness.  Continue to shine and share your soul.  We all need to find our light and share.

I grew up with the loving guidance of Mr. Rogers, and you have demonstrated his kind of love and heartfelt honesty on the many conundrums of being human. What a blessing you are to this planet, and to people like me who are just trying to connect to REAL people who love others without judgment and have the courage to discuss everything about the human experience ❤️  much love to you and sweet Doobie ❤ I will continue to listen to your YouTubes...you've been my favorite walking buddy since day one. Much love to you!

The best brain surgeon is the one who understands his own. Stay strong mate! Will always respect you. 🤗🤩

Dude.  I sure am feeling a sense of loss right now.  I'm a musician and I wrote a song about Climate Change some time ago.  Never did a thing with it.  lol.  Yes, music is extremely powerful.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you will do next.  I hope you will occasionally do a talking video from time to time.  You are such a natural and have so much wisdom to offer the world.  Plus, you are so genuine, intelligent, and charming.  Thank you so much for all the terrific videos and views you have given us so far.   For real.

I just hope this doesn't mean that you will remove and delete your back catalogue of videos. You of course have the free will to do so, but at least I think they hold tremendous value and can provide wisdom for generations to come. You are a brave and rare soul for sharing so much of your insight and personal life on this channel and I'm sure many others can agree with me when I say that. You are--or at least what you stand for and embody--an inspiration to us all. Thank you, Goobie.

Love you Goobie and Dobbie. Do your thing. We’ll be right along side you. ❤

you spent years asking the right questions and finally got answers, and now there's this weird dead zone where the seeking used to be. that's the part nobody warns you about. the questions were a container, something to pour yourself into when everything else felt shapeless, and answering them didn't fill you up like you thought it would. it just exposed how much of your identity was built around the searching itself, not the finding. someone gave me a book called "for those of you who feel invisible" during a similar stretch and there's this line about how the person who asks the questions is not the same person who can live the answers, and that gap between them is where the real work actually happens. i stopped waiting for the answers to feel like arrival and started treating them like permission to finally move.

I'm gonna miss listening to you talk peacefully while walking in nature.

Hi Goobie,

I've been watching your channel ever since I was a 1st year medical student when that MIT video came out. I'm a 3rd year student on rotations now and I just wanted to say that listening to your insights throughout the years has been incredibly valuable to me as I progress on my journey to becoming a doctor.

Your videos are valuable in general but I felt an extra special connection to your videos because of your medical background.  My favorite video of yours has to have been the one about betraying your true self and that led me to try more in practicing drawing, as difficult as that may be in the middle of the demands of medical school. Though you may not be practicing medicine anymore, you are still healing others. For that, I wanted to thank you sincerely.

I wish you the best on your new journey.

As always, thank you Goobie for sharing yourself with the world. We need more with your courage willing to speak as you do!

I have every single song you have posted in my playlist. My 83 year old dad listens to you. I have been watching you since the first video. A few months later my dad was talking about a YouTuber he likes and it was you! I feel many of your viewers feel a deep connection with you, like a dear friend. You have truly positively impacted thousands of lives. Thank you for your honesty.

I’ll be missing these videos. They’ve been helping me through a hard time. But will follow your art wherever it leads ❤

when i left my job as an engineer i found your channel. something felt wrong. i have been following your journey since. i thought i always needed to be this engineer. have this traditional job. then i didnt and i found your channel along the same journey.  something is different feeling in me and i'm glad to know others are like me.

The end of a YouTube era truly. I appreciated your insight Goobie and thank you Doobie for your purity and cuteness. You guys will be missed and reminisced for your insights. Here’s to a new chapter! 🥂

I don't click on just anything. When I seen this, I knew I wouldn't regret it.  you're a special person. Thank you for being you.

Thank you so much Goobie and Doobie for showing us a bit of your journey. It was so so lovely and helpful in so many ways. Rooting for you and for all of us as we continue with or move onto new chapters.

From one piece of "us" to the next, I see You as a very genuine and beautiful person. Thank you. I love You.

That was the calmest "take care of them" solution I have ever heard. You're on to something.

I have always felt a kinship with you, Goobie, and I want to share a story with you…
About six months ago, you made a video describing some death threats that had been made against you.
I have a much smaller YouTube channel than yours, but I was moved to make a YouTube short just doing my best to speak up for you and have your back.
I think the short got maybe 1000 views initially and then slowed down. But then for some reason, it has had a life of its own for the last six months getting 10 to 20 views just about every day at a pretty steady clip. I have not had any other shorts that have done this and somehow it’s an ongoing small connection I feel with you, even though we have never spoken, and as far as I know you don’t know who I am.
There is something very genuine and tender in you, Goobie, and I’m sure this is what people respond to.
I am grateful for the ways you have put your heart and your process out into the world, and I wish you the very best wherever life takes you from here.
With respect and fondness…
