In the Moscow region city of Podolsk, a boy-Mowgli was discovered! When he was found in an apartment, he was naked, crawling on all fours, baring his teeth and howling like a dog. The only item in the room was a mat on which the boy and the dog slept together for days on end. He was raised by the dog. He had lice in his hair and oversized nails on his toes. He was kept in such conditions by his mother and grandmother, who were later deemed sane, and the mother received only a suspended sentence.

This incident occurred in 2005. By a stroke of luck, Vitya Kozlovtsev was taken in by his adoptive mother, Lilith Gorelova, and she has been raising him for 19 years now.
