When You Can't Get the New Botanic NeoColor 2 Special Edition Set by Caran d'Ache

So, Caran d'Ache have decided to finally release the new 15 Neocolor 2s, that were exclusive to last year's 50th Anniversary Neocolor 2 watercolour crayons, as a whole stand alone set. But the kicker is that it's only available through the official Caran D'Ache website, so if your country isn't on their list, you're out of luck, like me.
So I've decided to try my hand at mixing my own Neocolor 2 pastels to try and achieve the 15 exclusive colours in the Botanic set.
Make yourself comfy, grab a beverage and a snack, because this one's a long one. :)
Thank you so much for watching, and don’t forget to give it a like if you enjoy this type of content, it helps my channel grow.

Edited 12 days later - All of the special edition sets - the two 10 packs and the complete 15 pack - have sold out on the US website.

I get what you mean about overworking. But I just wanted to say how I did like the direction the first one was going, because you kept saying "I don't know what I was thinking".
yes FOMO gets intense sometimes. Even if it's a tool we don't use a lot. 😅

I resisted the 5 Anniversary sets until I saw a super low price on a UK website, then I gave in 🙄
I am pretty disgusted with Caran D'ache about their recent Neocolor releases. The only country CD website that has them is the Swiss one and they won't ship out of country. The Botanic set isn't even listed on the UK site. I emailed them about this and as usual the CD customer service was rude and unhelpful. I wish they would just release colours open stock right across the range. But no, CD must make a money grab.
I like your landscape!
