Who is another peculiar person from history that Sam should cover?

Sam O' Nella lives up to the salmonella description. You never expect him, but when he's here it's a hell of an experience.

I think I need to add a little context to the "mother jokes". In Chinese culture, "your mom" is not a joke or tease, but a serious profanity, along with "his/her mom" and "f*** your mom". Especially when it's put in writing, plainly and explicitly, it's a heavy curse word that civilized people don't use unless you really mean it. I guess we can see from the poems how unhinged this guy was.

The prince he ‘accidentally’ shot was the cousin of the last Qing emperor Puyi.

@Gidi66 3 years ago

He kept his wealth and concubines as they most likely wanted to use him similar to how they used the last Chinese emperor puyi, and one of his poems is Untitled

They ask me how many women I have.

To be honest, I don’t know either.

Yesterday, a boy called me dad.

I don’t know who his mother was.

Guy was so based he threatened the god and won.

One (kinda) wholesome story I heard about this guy; he was going have have one of his officers executed for boinking one of his concubines. But then they both said that they were actually in love and not just horny, so he not only let them go but actually got them married free of charge

the Bastards Poem had me almost pass out laughing

anyone see the intentional Amogus in the power struggle?

Zhang was truly ahead of his time, as all the best poets are. Why are these masterpieces not being read in schools? Also, at this rate, we can expect the Sam's next video to release in june or July of next year. I can't wait.

The Dogmeat General was one of the most insane people to ever live. You can't even make half the things up he did.

@dr.woozie7500 3 years ago

Zhang was actually part of the Fengtian clique which was right-wing and collaborated with the Japanese in Manchuria prior to the 1931 invasion. He was an enemy of both the Kuomintang and the Communists.

9:51 This is the modern day version of making your soldiers stab the ocean with their swords because you're mad at the god of the sea, but in that one at least they didn't waste perfectly good shells and make their soldiers deaf bc of the sound.

This guy is what every military wants as a recruiter

Sam O'Nella sightings are basically more rare than Bigfoot. Knew you were gonna make a video about this.

@I_Stole_A_BTR-80 3 years ago

I just want everyone to remember that Zhang was 6'6" despite famine in his youth.

There is a timeline where he had plenty of food in his youth and became like 7'6" to 8'.

Guy was already as tall as a god in East Asian standards. He could have been as tall as the tallest basketballers on top of that.

Also, basest means "of low social class". Time wasn't ahead of their time with the term "based".

And we wouldnt see any sam videos for the next five years.

10:22 - He really went and threatened the God's mom.

@osmacar 3 years ago

for anyone who hasn't noticed. when sam is showing the not fully accurate warlord control he makes the top left green region an among us meme

@AlexKS1992 3 years ago

Apparently one of his favorite punishments he would hand out to people is skull splitting. Basically he would take an axe and hit someone on the head with it. He was a man I wouldn’t want to mess with.
