-How do you call smart person in USA?
-Tourist

My grandma used to say " It's better to keep one's mouth closed and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt!" 😂😂😂😂

Every country has its idiots, the problem is that America likes to do things bigger and better

In Portugal, we used to pledge allegiance to our flag in school, during our dictatorship. We didn't do it before, we haven't done it since

‘Food isn’t a human right but guns are’ what an absolute crazy person

Our state lottery in The Netherlands is older than the USA
First draw was in 1726

I had a friend who came from London, England.  An american asked her if she had difficulties learning English.  Couldn't understand why we were all laughing at him.

The Bingley Arms pub, in West Yorkshire, England has a (documented) claim to be more than 1,000 years old, making it the oldest remaining pub in existence and there are two other pubs in England that claim to be at least as old!  Doesn't that suggest that the country they are in is more than 250 years old...??

I had some guy say to me that I was probably a Trump supporter and I tried to explain to him that I didn't vote in the American election because I'm from Australia to which he replied it doesn't matter what state you're from you should still vote. When I tried to explain that Australia was a different country on the opposite side of the planet to America but he couldn't get his mind around that because according to him America is the whole world. I tried to further explain that for every 1 American in the world there are about 27 other people who are not American. Then he called me a liar and just stopped responding. The American bubble is a real thing.

Without trying to be too critical, it DOES show just how much Americans are brought up, if not actually taught, that America, and American, is the pinnacle of all things. National pride is one thing, but the arrogance, ignorance and aggression shown by so many Americans is alarming. I think humility lessons should be taught in U.S. schools.

Yes, claiming to be "German" or "Irish" yet not even knowing where Europe is on a map

It's not the mad proclamations of utter nonsense, it's the insane way they argue the madness in their corner🤦

Comment I read elsewhere, which imo perfectly summarizes Americans: "Its not so much the utter ignorance, its the confidence, with which they wallow in it".

Well living in the 'AMERICAN BUBBLE' will make most AMERICANS CLUELESS at least TYLER trying to educate himself more GOOD FOR HIM

The USA is hardly out of its nappy .

I took our exchange student daughter to a girl scout troop to talk to them about the difference between the US and Italy.
It was close to Thanksgiving. The leader asked my daughter if they celebrated Thanksgiving in Italy.
Daughter looked at me, and I said to her, maybe she is trying to help the girls understand that other countries don't celebrate Thanksgiving and why.
So, my daughter said no, and explained to them why Italy doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving.
The leader then looked at her and incredulously said, so, do you celebrate Christmas?
I just shrugged when my daughter looked at me because I couldn't believe this leader of the group was so stupid.
My daughter said, of course we celebrate Christmas. The majority of Italians are Catholics.
Truly sad that these folks are the leaders of groups that are supposed to be teaching our young people.

But surely only a dictator would demand children stand up every day and recite the pledge of alliance? <<autocorrect sucks,, Allegence.

For years the US has talked of how Russian children are brainwashed at school.  May I meekly suggest that having to recite the oath of allegiance daily is the same?

Did you know that the Canadians started using the maple leaf logo on their luggage’s, shirts when traveling because they didn’t want to be mistaken as Americans!? Fact! 😅

HMS Victory was commissioned before the thirteen States became independent.
