Developer here, thank you so much for playing the game! I was there when you were streaming it and it was fun to watch, glad you liked it.

Also, do you recall playing an itch game called Eyeless Jack? Yup, I'm the same dude who made that game, major improvement, huh?

Ok, I'm gonna czech out this gameplay

I do think that the "good" ending is actually a Good Ending.

Recovery is a lot like self-improvement: its a constant walk forward. Like how alcoholics and drug addicts dont ever become "cured", but they can recover from addiction and addictive behaviors. Him accepting fault and learning to live with the issue is key towards that path, because you can't kill the part of you that has it. It's not separate from yourself, it is you. You are everything that makes you up, both good and bad.

Whether or not he goes to prison for killing potentially dozens of people (I assume the "victims" tally at the end was the number of enemies killed) is a matter for the justice system. He as a person has chosen to accept that he has a problem, and the ending leaves it open to interpretation but it does seem to indicate he may get help further along the line for his disorder. Which in my book, is a good ending. :D Great video, as always!

idk why but when you said "Cry of Fear" my mind heard "Cryofear" as Cryo for ice and made me search my mind for what kind of old game was about fear of ice with that name.

apart from cry of fear, it reminds me of another game by the same developer - afraid of monsters. especially the bathroom scene near the ending and when he calls monsters victims.
i absolutely enjoyed this video, the game is so good

1:00 It's not a phase moooooooooom!

The main character looks so much like Colby Brock from Sam & Colby I could not unsee it LMAO 🤣

Petition for baby steps gameplay

I wonder if you killed no one if you'd get a different ending.

Need more games like this, and this video needs more comments

You can tell as the main dudes looks like simon. This should be good

When u complete the game without dying there's an achievement that is called "Rozeny Ostravak" which is a reference to a Czech streamer LMAO

I was watching this right before bed, and I thought that creepy sound in the woods was my four year old whining behind me in the dark. Freaked me tf out! 🤣😭

I kind of got the impression that the whole thing was a hallucination, or going through purgatory, a way for the protagonist to test their morals against their actions and see how to change for the better. I believe that they did start the fire in the building, and the fire fighter died saving them, but I don't think that necessarily means everyone else in the building also died. The protag might have just been dealing with the guilt of that possibility; it would explain why they were only looking at one grave and apologising at the end, instead of apologising to all of them.

I'm watching every gameplay about Pyromaniac and this is the better

This being uploaded after I been watching the firefighter stream is really funny 😭

The ominous hum sounds like Darkwood when dawn comes

Damn, I love Cry of fear sm ❤

I swear to god I randomly remembered you playing this game on stream and wanted to check the video, and I see you uploaded it 5 minutes ago what

huh very cool game, would've been cool if the story had more to it though tbh but still pretty good
i enjoyed it for sure
