Man that Seth Rollins cash in was amazing

The Strowman one was so bad my brain had deleted the memory of it

What makes Austin Theory’s cash-in even worse is that it was during an open challenge

The only people that had an issue with Seth's 2nd cash in are those who were chronically online and must ruin any and every sense of kayfabe by always posting behind the scenes stuff. They played that match at a bar I went to and none of those casual viewers called that Seth cash in.

Someone here tried to condone the 2022 Theory cash-in by telling me that "they always said they could cash in for any title"; like I was stupid for thinking it was shit booking...

The fact that there are already more than eight of them feels so surreal to me, given that I actively followed wrestling back in the days of WrestleMania 21.

10:40 What made it 10x worse was that he had done it on an open challenge like robbing a bank on free money day

Yeah ngl, no matter how not that long ago it was

Theory’s failed cash in is pretty hard to sink lower than

When Seth got injured I was so heartbroken. For him to sacrifice all that he has for the business and to cop an injury just before mania season only to return. Such good shit

Well as someone who doesn’t engage with news that breaks kayfabe till after the event takes place I loved the Seth Rollins 2025 and thought it was just as good as his previous one. It became unfortunate after Seth actually got injured but it was great when he first cashed in. I wasn’t sure if he was actually injured or if it was just an angle. Wwe hasn’t made me feel that way for sometime so it made me sooo happy to see!

If I remember correctly, the original plan with Otis was to have him pull what Theory did--use the briefcase for a lesser title (the tag titles, in his case) rather than the world title.

Thankfully, that was scrapped...even if it did mean we got subjected to the Miz's second title reign.

3:12 hey ☹️ I didn’t read into dirt sheets yet

There was literally nobody that had an issue with Seth’s 2nd cash in

I remember when Seth Rollins came back and I made the mistake of revealing I was fooled on a Reddit thread. I was crucified for being so stupid because the podcasts and wrestling “news” had been talking about how it was fake for weeks. I couldn’t help but feel smarks ruin it for themselves. I don’t follow any of that slop. There’s nothing of value to be gained. Only retrospective listicles and docs for me.

I HATE when the MITB winner cashes in and wins title only to be a transitional champion, MITB should be far more than that and that also happens because it's most of the time that the wrong MITB winners

Wasn’t John cena the first failed cash-in in 2012 ? The year before ?

I know Hunters booking can be maligned but I will forever maintain he would've nailed the Nikki ASH gimmick. After all he worked with Hurricane who gave Nikki his blessing to go for it. Also Charlotte was the heel, PEOPLE HAAAAAATED HER so of course Nikki would do the surprise move, its called catharsis.

John Cena was actually the first person to lose his money in the bank challenge

Loads of people who actually want to enjoy the product and don't go out of their way to ruin the immersion for themselves really enjoyed the rollins cash in. I would say the vast majority of people who watch WWE fall into that category, even ones like me who watch wrestling content on youtube regularly. I understand it was ruined for you because it's your job to get the inside scoop on stuff, but for the general audience and even a lot of diehard fans, it was fun. If your issue was that it's a bad precedent to fake an injury, then cool. But if it's just that you had it spoiled for you, that's not a good reason for it to be on this list at all imo.

3:12 I disagree with this wholeheartedly as a CM Punk Stan. I knew what was gonna happen. They milked it. But it capitalized on the moment because of the palpable hatred between Seth and Punk.

Idk. I enjoyed it
