He remakes the recipe a few years later. You should check it out too. He really has advanced since his early days. His chopping technique is much better, he makes his own stock, etc. It's been a crazy journey for him. Hope you review more of his videos.

So glad you finally found Jamie AntiChef. He's Canadian but has lived in a few countries because of his then girlfriend's work. They moved to New York before returning home to Canada. They are now married with a baby and reside in Toronto. I love his videos and you will too.

I love his channel because he strikes a good balance between showing the cooking process and being a showman/entertainer. The food is always the focus but his own personality is still able to shine and he's delightful.

I like that anti-chef isn’t a perfect cook, he’s on the same journey as most of us and I especially like his Julia Childs videos because that lady really knew what she was doing even though she wasn’t a classically trained chef I believe.

This has been a fun crossover between two of my favorite food creators. Jamie has indeed grown much in the several years since this video, but he remains true to his roots as someone just trial-and-erroring his way through recipes. I think that’s a pretty old one. The videos of him tackling Thomas Keller’s recipes from the French laundry cookbook are truly impressive. I’m not a chef and have tried to do some, and he did a WAAAAY better job than I was ever able to!
