OMG I recognise the bloke that was speaking at the meeting with the beard and glasses. The local kids used to call him Catweasel and he used to arrange little functions at Doric Park such as inflatables and bouncy castles and that.

Brilliant

Super Swan was the 1st place I ever saw a bouncy castle, every time I see one now it reminds me of it. Super Swan was just a great event, I remember being really excited by it. How many times did they do it? I seem to remember the year after 1977, the Jubilee we had street parties and events anyway and 1978 I was 13 so not interested in 'kids' stuff anymore, I was more in to my music and going to see bands play and such, and starting to appreciate that girls weren't as smelly as maybe I had thought a couple of years earlier, lol.

At:29 is the short cut through to the post office on prescot road ,which is at the bottom of the jigger
