In October 2016, two experienced technical divers descended into Eagle's Nest, one of the deadliest cave systems in the United States, buried inside a quiet Florida sinkhole. Chris Rittenmeyer and Patrick Peacock were skilled, certified, and knew the risks of the cave better than almost anyone. They never came back up.

Days later, rescue divers found them together at 260 feet, deep inside a passage few divers ever reach. What happened in those final minutes, and why his brother was so certain Chris would never have left Patrick behind, is the story we're covering in this video.

Eagle's Nest has claimed more lives than almost any dive site in North America, earning it a reputation among cave divers as the "Everest of diving." This is the story of two of them.
