Stanley, Black and Decker group. Good demonstration of these three mowers, I do like the new colours nice..... As always great video catch you soon take care.
I’ve got a Snapper 275XP 48” mulching deck but it struggles to cut it even at the highest setting because the grass is very dense and is hard going unless I can get out there every weekend!
Don’t know if a side discharge would be a better option as it clears the grass from the deck quicker?
The whole area I mow is 6-7 acres and a fair slope too!!
What I don't like about these is the plastic bonnet because they're easily damaged and that large yellow plastic cover over the pressed steel cutting deck because that makes it impossible to clean grass clippings off the top of the deck and that promotes corrosion.
What I would like in an ideal world is a fabricated deck and a design that makes it quick and easy to change V belts , some are better than others in that regard.
Does the rear discharge model have the ability to easily remove the catcher so a trailer can be towed ?
I have a trailer mounted spray unit I tow behind and also often drag a bundle of prunings to the burn pile with my mower, makes them a versatile machine.
It would seem that there is a Chinese manufacturing line resembling the old Husqvarna line from Orangeburg that made Husqvarna, McCullough, Craftsman, Partner, Jonsered and John Deere. All the same machines, just different colours and bonnets.
I am also sure that GGP will only be making the front deck machines shortly, everything else will be outsourced to this Chinese manufacturing line.
