On February 24, 2026, alarming reports began spreading across Smolensk public groups, and then through major media outlets: early in the morning, a 9-year-old girl named Sasha left her house at 58 Marshal Eremenko Street to walk her pet toy terrier. Such walks usually took no more than 10-15 minutes. However, after a while, the girl never returned home.

The dog itself was quickly discovered, but no trace of its young owner was found. It was as if the girl had vanished into thin air...

Thus began a long and arduous search, the outcome of which shocked the entire country.
