OMG IM JUST ON TIME LMAO
This video was supposed to just be a casual, romp around with some cute dinosaurs, but quickly spun out of control; with stream snipers, cool fights and an actual parade of babies it was chaotic VERY fast lmao
That being said, I actually really enjoyed Ano!
Considering Rex and Ano were at one point both my least favourite playables in the game, their TLCs have helped them out EXTREMELY

Imo of course lol
I know a lot of people are not a fan of new ano (somehow)

Ngl, as a giga main I am distraught at how badly he threw that, same with the Rex.

25:00 that scene looks kinda sad if you think about it raising them to adult as you take your final rest 😢

To answer your question: since a tortoise shell is made of bone and the animal is fused to it, yes, the shells can be scarred and deformed if enough damage is done to it. The shells do flake off layers with age and growth, but if there's damage to the underlying bone, it's going to affect overall shell growth and look.

All of those little potatoes were so cute and how they actually grew up. It was sad that it most of them died but that story was beautiful.❤️

Honestly, if I were ever on a server and saw a mother Ankylo followed by a horde of Ankylo babies, I'd probably think there was some kind of secret cult going on.

In regards to the tortoise question: their shells are formed from their ribs, which have been heavily fused and modified. Over top of that base, they have a covering of osteoderms, pieces of bone embedded in the skin, the same type of armour things like crocodiles (and ankylosaurs!) have, and then each osteoderm is covered in a scute, a covering of keratin (the same structural protein found in our nails and hair)

So the answer is i dont see why a tortoise couldnt have battle scars in the form of old scratch marks across its shell, but given that keratin is dead tissue and cant grow or repair itself to form proper scars like skin can, theyd probably just be limited to like that kind of scratch mark

That poor Ano at the end there lol, great vid as usual 🔥

I can’t emphasise enough JUST how much I loved this video AND your channel. This vid brought me so much joy, sadness, fear, excitement, etc, better than a bloody movie can. The cinematics and editing were just top tier. Your commentary is just absolutely funny and entertaining, almost like a comedy-esc prehistoric documentary: Walking with Pebbles.

I gotta play as an Ano again cause of your video ❤
