Just finished a photo shoot aimed at Islay whiskeys.  After contacting the folks at Kilchoman, I am convinced that Kilchoman will continue to expand and become a big player in Islay Scotch.  The connection to purity and natural color is exceptional. The flavor blending 75/25 between bourbon and sherry is simple yet exciting.  Ben, keep up the good work and direct style of telling it like it is.

Very nice presentation as well as detailed distillery information.  If I may, I am a professional photographer and videographer for over 20 years.  The one enhancement I would make with your videos is on the "B" role.  To film the views of the distillery in a very very slow panning motion or simply keeping it steady on a section for a few seconds.  Viewers enjoy B role while the speaker is talking and it distinguishes your product from many others.  In any event good job and great success.

Great tour and what an excellent start to a new distillery, I must admit I've been following these releases of late and decided to get myself the Whisky Shop exclusive, bottled in 2018 after almost 11 years in cask, 56.5% ABV, 238 bottles! I'm more than tempted to open it but at the moment it's sitting at the back of the cupboard, it was a bit pricey so maybe a keeper for a while!...I have a feeling this distillery has a good future!! Another great video, please keep it going!

Fantastic series, Ben! I just finished watching this one and the Bowmore vid. It's almost like being there, except without the smells and the tastings. I'd better take the trip over there myself sooner than later. Great job!

Ben, this was a nice overview of your tour at Kilchoman. I have really enjoyed my past visits to Kilchoman since it is such a contrast to the other larger Islay distilleries. With the the recent opening of the Ardnahoe Distillery, there is now another smaller Islay distillery but it is also different than Kilchoman. As I mentioned earlier, my last trip to Islay was in early April and shortly after you had been there. In April, I did both the Classic Tour and the Ultimate Tour while at Kilchoman. Once again we had the same tour guide while on Islay, this time Nicole at Kilchoman. She was my guide for the Ultimate Tour and did a great job. It ended up being a solo tour since I was the only one booked for that time slot. I enjoyed seeing the warehouse and the 2 new stills that had just been installed at that time. I bumped in to Anthony Wills as I was leaving Kilchoman during my April visit and said a quick hello. Cheers 🥃!

Nice one Ben. Kilchoman is fast becoming a favourite of mine. Looking forward to adding the 2009 to my lineup this week. Looking forward to you doing a tasting of these little gems.
