TIMBEEEERRRR! Early Fall Crappie Fishing On Sam Rayburn | On the Boat With SLAB DOC

Welcome to the channel Fishing by the Numbers! On today's episode, I made a trip to Lake Sam Rayburn and fished my with guy @slabdoclamarharris1763 on his Ranger to get a feel for what it's like to catch crappie in timber from a larger water craft. As you all know, I'm used to my kayak, and I've only fished from someone's boat a handful of times. It was a great experience, one that has me considering Ranger as a possible vessel for myself, as I've been on a quest to find the right boat for me!
My bait of choice on this trip with the Bobby Garland Slab Stalker, which is a new paddle tail bait that was released this year! The color that worked the best was Thump! Slabs were on fire all day, and we caught a nice mix of black and white slab crappie! Check out the video, and as always, I hope you enjoy the content!
I put fish in the boat using a variety of #BobbyGarland baits, and flipped em in with my 15ft #ACCCrappieStix rod and #Piscifun reels. Thanks for watching, and your support is greatly appreciated!
My favorite jigging Crappie Rod: 8ft #ACCCrappieStix GS08M Green Series 8', but I exclusively used the 15ft rod for this trip. Check out both or the variety of other casting, jigging and trolling rods, check out the gear at https://acccrappiestix.com
If you're interested in the kayak that I fish from, use the link below to buy your new #OldTown Auto Pilot or your favorite kayak and kayak accessories from Eco Fishing Shop
