Horror writer Hirayama Yumeaki, known for his true ghost story series such as "Super Scary Stories" and "Tokyo Legends," as well as "Scary Books" and "Scary People."

As a writer, he has received numerous awards, including the Mystery Writers of Japan Award, the Oyabu Haruhiko Award, the Japan Adventure Fiction Association Grand Prize, and #1 in the This Mystery is Amazing! Japan ranking.

With his novels having been adapted into films countless times, he is known as a superstar in the horror world.
