it gave me goosebumps to learn that he was named after a saint who protected abandoned children from the street but he lost his life and froze to death as a homeless vulnerable man

Rest in peace Vincent. You're remembered by people you never knew.

Imagine complete strangers in a completely different country outside your race an culture caring more about u and making sure you have ur final resting place than ur own family

They knew he was dead and never claimed him, so Vincent was never missing he was just abandoned due to his disability in England. Disgraceful parents & family who should know better given their academic legal studies.

How does a judge from Nigeria who studied and lived in England just abandon his mute son? Then the family back home confirmed they knew he had died and did not want contact ! Disgusting humans. Scared they would receive the bill for his burial. That is so sad, he had no family to love him or care. Non even asked were or how he died or was buried yet knew? Strange.

RIP Vincent.

I really do think the family are ashamed of Vincent’s disability and just abandoned him how disgusting

How did a vulnerable young man go missing and nobody match him up with the body of an unknown man. He even had his name in his pocket for christ sake. This poor man was failed.

Unacceptable, heartbreaking and wrong. What a disgraceful family

17:58 that is awful how the council could just cremate these bodies without them being identified or even notifying families first. 💔💔💔💔

“Yes we were aware he died but we didn’t give a shit” basically

so sad, that was someones baby boy once upon a time, carried for 9 months with love and care just to be discarded like that

Disgusting response from the family. He didn't ask to be born like that! And noone understood him until it was too late. RIP Vincent. I hope you have peace now.

Wow. The parent's seem happy not to have any further information. Vincent was born the same year as me and I can't imagine what his daily life would have been like. Shame on his parents, shame on the council that had him buried "somewhere" and shame on the police for their half-arsed attempt to find his family. Sleep peacefully Vincent.

This is shocking, the family doesn’t want anything to do with the case? This is insane. They don’t even want to know where he is buried and how he died? I’m shocked.

They left him in the Uk because he had issues. I think they were ashamed of him. That is really sad may he rest in peace.

I remember working with homeless in London.. and the late princess Diana attended several funerals of homeless people.. she wanted to highlight this more..

His family are cold people. The Locate team cared more about him than they did. Rip Vincent x

it broke my heart when the family said they didnt want further involvement......

Kudos to the team for the effort to identify Vincent. However very disturbing that his family even after his passing in such circumstances could not come through to giving Vincent a farewell and thanking those who took the pain to identify him goes a long way to explain the systematic destruction of the culture of various ethnic minorities in Nigeria. If Vincent was identified to have left some form of wealth behind the family would fly to London in the next available flight and tell the press how much he was loved and missed.
