Javier Bardem did for "No Country for Old Men" what Anthony Hopkins did for "Silence of the Lambs"... epic, iconic, legendary performance 🙂

Javier Bardem was an awesome Anton Chigur. He was the most chilling character I have ever seen in a non horror movie.

4:15 I love that even out of character, Josh Brolin calls him Sugar.

Bardem was great in this film. Definitely Deserved the Oscar for his performance. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Deserved the best picture winner too.

Even though the Oscar means nothing nowadays

This film is very much stamped into my memory. No Country for Old Men is an absolute classic.

It's admirable when a movie in this century can take elements back to basics and yet still make them feel refreshingly new. No Country For Old Men is very high on my list for that.

The scariest part of this movie was Anton’s haircut

@iamhappy-s6k 8 months ago

idk why but that haircut fits bardem so much

I was just telling the wife today that I thought I would like to see what would have happened if the old guy in the store during the coin toss scene was the swede from fargo lol!

Strange to regret watching this - BTS's of all kinds, especially Feather's, are my happy place on YT, but NCFOLM's magic is pierced by the dissection.

FAR AND AWAY the Coen`s did their best work with this flick... Heads nor tails there`s never been a more fucked up hitman than Javier`s portrayal of his badass

"Miller's Crossing" is still their best.

A modern day Western this one. It has everything: action, suspense, horror, drama, some subtle humor, and the deserts of West Texas (I can verify, they are ruggedly lovely).
I wonder how McCarthy's book 'Blood Meridian' would look as a film if someone could turn it into one. :)
