The Tiring Reality of Stray Kids' DominATE Tour - EXTENDED

I strive to make positive KPop content in a genre full of negativity, so you can love your favorite groups even more!!

Stray Kids’ DominATE Tour was massive, but what was it really like behind the scenes?

hey guys!! this is the extended version of my DominATE Tour video, looking even deeper into what it actually took for Stray Kids to survive the biggest tour in KPop history. we're going beyond the logistics this time and focusing on the physical and mental toll of performing 57 shows across five continents in less than a year. from Seungmin sleeping seventeen hours straight in Seattle to Felix performing through chronic back pain, we'll look at the reality behind the record-breaking numbers. this version explores how the members managed exhaustion, what their survival strategies looked like, the role of their traveling physician and therapy room, and how they fought to stay mentally sharp when the shows started blurring together. we'll also get into how they avoided burnout through downtime, kept the tour evolving with setlist changes and fan interactions, and what kept them going through it all. there's so much more to this story than the stage, and this extended cut unpacks the parts that don't make it into the highlight reels. have a good day!!

The lyrics form ceremony actually say what they’re going through“working off time, that ratio got us going world wide, thirsty day and night they put us in the desert but we survive”

On top of the tour, they published 3 albums. Stray Kids are unique. Wishing them only the best in life. They deserve the world and more. Thank you for this video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I feel tired just watching them. I admire stray kids for their hard work ❤

These pop idols are like athletes now. While it amazes me and makes me appreciate them more, it also makes me feel concerned. Doing too much can hurt them more in the long term.

It actually bothers me how they’re already preparing for another album, like they already have over 200 songs they need to rest

09:58 You mentioned Lee Know eating tuna, seaweed and rice consistently, and I think that consistency is one of the core reasons he pulled through. Overall Lee Know is a very grounded and reserved person, I feel like he doesn’t like being outside Korea a lot — except maybe Japan 😭

I think Lee Know is one of the healthiest idols when it comes to routine. I had his Bubble subscription throughout almost the entire DominATE tour, and in each country, each time zone, each stop he stayed consistent. Each morning, he would send a message saying ‘Hai’ at around 7-8ish. Then telling us he had a banana and a shake or again, rice tuna seaweed. I actually replied “Screw your banana and shake” at some point 😭 Anyways, I’m so proud of all the skz members. I went to their Amsterdam stop and had SO much fun 😊😊

The sight of mats all over the floor before almost every performance for grown men to collapse on in a tangled pile like it was Naptime at Daycare was an alarming wake up call for me as a Baby Stay who joined while they were on tour. That sight may be cute for a few seconds, but reality will start to hit really soon

Mind boggling! I'm a 71 yo grandma, it blows my mind these Kids can keep it all together. In my youth, I was on a cheer squad and I sang in the choir, the intensity has caught up with me and that was only a 1 hour practice a day in HS. These young men go almost 24-7 without much of a break just to appease the fans and god forbid if the make a mistake, the haters watch to just catch them make one. Bless their hearts and bodies. Thank you Stray Kids for keeping us entertained and thank you PurpleTeeJ for posting this insightful video. Your works are noted.

As someone who has cronicpain the pain Felix has have had to deal with is serious and if you are a paincronic you can see the pain though he has done an excellent job of hiding it.

Thank you for highlighting all the hard work that goes into them being on tour 🫰🏻 and even just preparing for a tour. There’s sooooo much that needs to be done in order for them to put on these amazing shows, and I have so much respect for artists who can do this.

Thank you for this vid, you are doing such a valuble service for stay, and even the kids themselves, dare I say. Your empathy, keen eye and honest words are cherished by everyone who watched this vid and other works of yours.

OMG, just watching this, I had to stop the video, several times. It made me completely stressed. Poor members 😞

I watched the dominATE experiece movie yesterday and ofc you can cut the material in a certain way, but I was so amazed of how perfect their performance in L.A. was. How perfectly every movement was, every camera position and angle was a hit. Really incredible how they manage to pull that off!

His back issue isn't going to heal, you live with pain everyday. Some days or hours are better than others.

Every #STAY needs to see this. There are some that don't understand it. These men, Stray Kids, are people. I'm so glad that this video was made. Thank you. ♡

With Felix, I’m not sure if anyone remembers that JYPE released a statement before the U.S. leg about his injury and that he may have to adjust performances based on his condition but he was determined to not miss any shows in states. 🥺 I was worried for him and the rest of the members since they’ve all said they have some sort of chronic physical injuries.
