We see what time has brought us - we need time to make peace. We need time to be loving and kind. And we wait for life to happen to us. We made time our master and yet we hope to be free.

Very true that time is a big monster who chase our happiness and decision trouble is from time if truly we can live without thinking about time or making so much attention to the time we will have a free life

He is showing us, if you see reality as it is

and you accept "what is", without any judgement or emotions, or urge to change it into something else (what your ego thinks it should be)

then you stay in the present moment, and there is no time psychologically

but if you cannot live with "what is" - and you constantly see things that your ego says must be changed, or fixed, or made right
then your thoughts create time, and you are no longer in the present, you mind is projecting what it must do in the future: walk over there, pick that thing up, carry it to where it is supposed to be, fix it if its broken, find out how it got broken, find out how it got moved, punish the people responsible, make sure it never happens again ...

and even if you dont actually do any of those things, your mind has jumped out of the present anyway, and dragged you down and out of experiencing reality of the Universe as it is, right now

your memories will do the same thing to you
when you remember something that upset you, you think about what happened, what you did wrong, you think about what you should have done, you think about how you can set the Universe right again (because you left it in the 'wrong state')
and again you are no longer free to experience the Universe as it is, in the present
because your mind is stuck in the past, and the future

in the big picture this all comes back to death

your ego knows someday your body will die, and your ego will cease to exist
it will not accept this reality, and you spend your whole life trying to either come up with a way to escape the reality
or your spend your whole life trying to distract your mind, and find some purpose or meaning to keep yourself busy
or to build yourself a legacy
and spend your whole life worrying about the big Nothing that will come when your body dies, directly or indirectly
and never spend ANY time living in the present, being aware of the awe and wonder of just being alive
and conscious
and self aware that you are part of this incredibly Universe
even if only for a short 20 50 70 90.... years

The only person who makes sense as for the rest

9:14 Isn't the question of going beyond your own anxiety, greed and sorrow an ideal. It's a better situation which is an ideal state. To have no anxiety, greed or sorrow. When he says go beyond,he sees it as a problem. Why would you need to go beyond something if it wasn't a problem? He says, look at it,why? Is it a problem. Something is only a problem if you have a better situation. That is the essence of idealistic thinking. K is an idealist without knowing it. He wants s better world, that's why he talks. Because to him the world at present is not ideal.

Time, Dr Freeman? Is it really that time again?

The immediate felt presence of reality; we’ve destroyed us, the collective lives in a sort of world akin to the “8 1/2” as in Fellinis film. What a shame to the many who understand what K is saying; man is attempting to fail and fall out of what he was given, and it seems through a hallucinating mind he cannot observe what time is, what a damn shame.

'Thought is time', 'thought is measurement' means psychologically, 'time' means 'thought', means 'I have to be calm' thought while I am angry means I have to change my thought from 'I am angry' to 'I am calm', means we have to accept 'I am angry' and understand that thought by staying in that anger to observe how it works in us without saying or doing anything based on that thought which in turn will make us move from the point of 'being angry' to 'I am observing anger' and thus causing a division in perception of 'I' and 'anger' and we can see we are actually calm... J.k always says 'when the observer becomes observed'... Maybe this is how it works... I am still trying to understand and implement it in my life as he always says 'one has to understand for oneself, don't just agree with me'.

time is always now

But atleast we need time practically,,if my exam is there tomorrow,i cannot say time doesn't exist😢😢if i think tmrw my exam is there ,then only i can read ,,,
