A new film by monk Salaphiel (Filipiev) - "Athos. The Year of Eternity," 2022.
A documentary film spanning an entire calendar year, it lifts the curtain on the spiritual life and everyday routine of hermits. What is the meaning of solitude? Why are more and more people striving for a life far from civilization, or, while remaining in the world, seeking a path within themselves? The author shares the experiences of ancient and modern hermits, talks about himself, and invites the viewer to join in the reflection...

The film features songs by Evgeny Fokin with lyrics by monk Salaphiel (Filipiev), and the author also reads his own poems.
