Can foreigners move and live in Switzerland? I travelled to Lausanne to meet with lawyer Laurent Maire from MCE Avocats to learn how to move to Switzerland, buy property here, run a business, or benefit from the Lump-Sum taxation regime.

2nd u need a place to live (difficult as u have just a bridge visa)
3rd u need a bank account
After this u become a B permit where as a foreigner u only pay 7.7% flat rate tax and some companies pay u 13x a year.
On a B pass u have your tax’s taken every month
Now Switzerland is very restrictive on what country u originated from and your religion- you have to be either an atheist or follow a religion of Christ
There are 4 national languages -Swiss German/italian/french and romansch . Speakin German is ok as a start but Swiss German is a completely different way of speaking and different words. Zurich is the easiest place for English speakers to get a job etc as it’s very multicultural. I moved there working for Harley Davidson as a tech so I spoke English but with time I speak Swiss German. Companies will usually send u on language courses.
