I have come to love RAYE, and I was stoked to react to this with you all! However, I DID NOT expect the extreme emotional reaction I had to this song. I am floored! This song brought up so much of my own personal past with fighting and advocating for myself and my mental health. The lyrics to this song hit me straight in the darkest parts of myself. Thanks again to RAYE for exposing us to her greatness and her realness while allowing us to be vulnerable. Thanks for being here.

It's OK, this is such an incredible song. Thank you for sharing your story and how it affected you. She was interviewed about the song and she talked about how she and members of her band and was talking about how they were feeling and this song came from that discussion.

I made the mistake of listening to her album for the first time when I was grocery shopping. This track followed by "Lifeboat" got me ugly crying in the cleaning supplies aisle 😂😅

The first time I heard Raye perform this track was a year ago at Glastonbury. It’s on YouTube if you want to check it out. My wife & I were going through a particularly bad time with our son & I needed to hear that. I reckon most people have the same reaction when first hearing it. It’s a beautiful song in every way. I just found your reaction (because I love Raye lol) but I can tell from the way you responded… you have a heart full of love, and have given that love to so many people, and find it hard to do that for yourself. You are such a beautiful woman, I hope you see that in yourself.
