When you realise this is a PTSD episode of Ellie it hurts so bad

Imagine being on that development team, and hearing that reaction.

Ellie: i want to kill all of them.
Joel: Why?
Ellie: because they killed you
Joel: WTF??

You know you're doing it right when everyone gets hyped because of a symbol

@oecmzx 6 years ago

It hurts to know that she was imagining Joel 😔

Honestly, whoever wrote and edited this hype trailer is absolutely brilliant. The pacing of the reveal of the firefly sign, followed by the Naughty Dog logo, and then Ellie's hand appearing - open, palm down, calming and silencing the crowd, closing into a fist like a conductor cutting off an orchestra. They understood the assignment.

It is just amazing how a symbol can cause such an impact. That firefly logo made everyone go crazy!

@aligamerable 9 years ago (edited)

Obviously the best part is people losing it at the FireFly logo.

Ellie : I'm gonna kill every last one of them
Me: well.... You did technically miss one.
