Give whoever pitched this a raise and a high five and a sizable tab at the bar.

I love how the chairs are set up at an angle to look good for the camera but they both just twisted in their seats to face each other

Variety clipping in Brennan saying "I'm gonna kill that dog" after he mentions how their show would lean into comedy is a wild and beautiful choice.

May the voices of men like this, who embody and support non-toxic masculinity, reach every young person struggling against red pill bullshit.

Actually wild to see a mainstream platform drop a 50-minute video of just two GMs talking

My god pulling that analogy of the child and the punches to PERFECTLY match the concept of 'Ma' they had been discussing is insane.

Brennan is such a genuinely intelligent and articulate man

My homepage is Brennan talking to Matt immediately followed by Brennan talking to Hank Green. Maybe this is the good timeline after all

Mental Health Counselor here: I finished the first season of Fantasy High and immediately started developing my first ever DnD campaign. That was five years ago, and we’ve been going ever since. So important for my own mental health. My gratitude is incalculable.

"We're gonna be on the channel with like Oscar winners, talking about playing D&D" No, Brennan it's the Oscar winners that are on the channel with you and Matt talking about D&D

18:12 Matt getting PTSD from the dreaded Xhorhas Tunnel Incident of Campaign 2 where the party spent two whole sessions walking as far "out of bounds" as they could from the plot he had planned.

I cannot believe they are showing parts of the masterpiece "Dimension 20: On a Bus" on Variety.

“All of the horror of battle comes from the rain.” is such a beautiful way to describe stakes in a story. It reminds me of Mulan, where the first half of the movie is musical and comedic and hopeful, and then the soldier’s platoon passes the burned down village. And it’s a children’s movie of course, so no gore or blood - just a lone baby doll left in the snow. And that one doll without its owner completely changed the energy of the rest of the movie.

Brennan is lucky that Sam Reich didn't come in an kidnap him for a Gamechanger episode mid-Variety interview, in revenge for doing the same

That's so Matt - his best moment watching his friends perform at Madison Gardens is seeing the pride in the eyes of his friend's mum

Your favorite Dungeon Masters’ favorite Dragon Master is Katie Marovitch.

Imagine being a DM for the vast majority of your life, then the day you meet Matt Mercer he finds an answer in your D&D quiz that you didn't even account for, absolutely awe inspiring man
