After 6 years and 100,000 miles… here’s my honest review of my Mazda MX-5 Miata.
This car has been with me through everything daily drives, road trips, late-night cruises, and plenty of memories along the way. In this video, I break down what it’s really like to own a Miata long-term, not just the highlights you see online.
I talk about what I love, what surprised me, and what started to wear on me after putting serious miles on it.
Is it still worth it after 100k miles? Would I buy it again? And is the Miata actually as fun as everyone says?

I’m 85 years old. I just sold my 5 L Mustang and bought a Miata. It’s small as compact and it’s just adorable to drive.

I bought myself a 2015 Miata MX-5 PRHT in 2016, with 10K miles, still had that new car smell, when my daughter started driving and would take my car unexpectedly leaving me stranded on a regular basis. I could’ve gotten a typical mom mobile but decided to get myself a toy instead, because life is too short not to. Still drive her on beautiful sunny days and I love her so much. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. ❣️❣️❣️

I’m 56 years old . Bought my2019 RF club new . Drive it year round as a daily . Even in winter . Great car . Wouldn’t trade it. Bought it for 30k . 7 years in still worth 25k . How could you go wrong

I was riding motorcycles at your age. I retired from riding and now I'm a proud owner of an ND2. I was considering an S2000, but after looking at the numbers, the ND2 is finally where Mazda caught up. Biggest thing I noticed is I'm doing lightly spirited driving and I look down and see I'm still going the speed limit. I could push it harder of course, but around the streets there's really no point! It's truly fun to just drive around. I get around 100 smiles per gallon in mine. Nice video! I think we'll always have a car like this even if it's just a weekend ride.

I have a 2019 Mazda ND2 first drove it business lease, then bought it. Has been my daily driver since 2019. 230.000 kilometers on it. Drove it everywhere in Europe.

I’m currently on my 2nd ND but 6th Miata, I always go back to them. I recently had 2 caymans (987S and 981) and I don’t regret going back to an ND. The Porsche’s are amazing, but the maintenance its a different level that sticks to the back of your mind when you drive them.

I drive a 2022 ND, and it’s perfectly fine without the sway bar and lowered suspension. It’s my daily driver too and I love it!

Love these cars! Just bought a 2023 rf two weeks ago. Thanks for explaining the different mods. Mine came with an after market exhaust and cold air intake, but it was mostly stock. The only thing I dislike is the OE wind blocker. Everything else is perfect!
