It’s so interesting how the situation with Sam’s character went from “Haha funny chaste noble boy” to “Oh this is a barely-adult boy who is trapped in an incredibly emotionally abusive and manipulative family”. The second Brennan hit the table I just felt a chill run up my spine. He plays “Opposite of a Good Parent” so well.

The concept of celestials as raging, unearthly creatures in a world without gods is so cool and I can’t wait to see what Brennan can do with it

Marisha and the southern struggle to make an analogy and immediately confuse everyone

Why be a wizard when you can't even Kerplow a Photarch? :person-turquoise-wizard-wand:

Also Travis' laugh at "I'd like you to meet your grandfather."

I don’t know what’s worse. The Celestials being rampaging beasts or Brennan about to go full on Biblically accurate with the description of Wic’s granddad?

I liked the description of the angel at the end. Brennan earlier mentioned how after the war was won(?) Celestials basically went feral. And yet, they are still Celestials. So the description of "featherless wings" is an economical way of saying "they either plucked its feathers, or much like some birds, shed them from stress" (BRENNAN BIRDFACTS??) and "unpointed teeth" is a subversion of how monsters are typically described as having the opposite, and what a sorry state this is.

honestly, i want to see the dice that they couldnt tell if it was a 3, 8, or 10

I had the exact same reaction as Sam at the end.

2:20 "must be a king"
"How do you know?"
"'Cos he ain't covered in sh1t"

@vazzeee 11 months ago

So we all know someone is going to let that angel loose at some point, right?

I never ship. ever. but..... whic and tyranny together eventually would make me very happy I think.

I imagine the scream of the angel of the last scene as the screams from one of the Evangelion angels i.e. Ramiel from the Rebuild series

Ep1: cold opens to Thjazi's execution
Ep2: cold opens to a flashback to the Falconer's Rebellion

What now, for Ep4? Cold opening to the gang getting chased out of the Rookery as they make way for the stronghold??? XD

Edit: It's so much wilder in Ep4, holy shit

This approach on how to run a campaign from Brennan Lee Mulligan is very fascinating to watch.

@LoungeOfLegend 11 months ago

This was such a sick reveal. I had my suspicions but, didn't even think itd go that way. So cool. Brennan cuts through tension like a truck lol. "Takes off his blindfold....GYAAAARGGHHH"

As a huge fan of all of Brennans campaigns, D20, Worlds Beyond numbers and EXU,
It's so great to see these NEW people experience all the fucking emotional turmoil I have endured through out all of my years. You don't know what hit you and then YOU ARE JUST CRYING

Also, all these jumping timelines are fucking great, you have to be on your toes and I've never seen this before in a dnd table, RAD AS HELL
