For the second time since June of this 2025, the STM transit authority of Montreal is having a strike, specifically the maintenance workers like previously this year.

Just like last time, metro and bus service will be significantly reduced this week and next week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information on the strike and the schedule, check out this site: https://www.stm.info/en/info/service-...

In summary, bus and metro service will only run three times a day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week and next week: Morning rush hour, afternoon rush hour and late at night right before regular closing time.

In this video, we are at Lionel-Groulx metro station just as the metro is about to finish rush hour service before closing until later in the night.

Just like back in June, we can see many trains deadheading through the station before it closes for hours.
